Commercial License for AI-Generated Music
Eligible tracks generated while a paid plan is active include a commercial license. This page explains what that license covers, what it does not, and how the downloadable certificate works.
Last updated October 5, 2026.
1. What the license covers
When you generate a track while a paid subscription or credit pack is active, and the track is used in accordance with these terms, you receive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use that track in commercial and non-commercial projects.
- YouTube monetization, Spotify and streaming releases, and social publishing.
- TikTok, Reels, and Shorts ads or campaigns, including paid social placements.
- Podcasts, audiobooks, films, games, apps, and client work.
- Modifications, edits, and re-arrangements of the generated material.
2. Conditions
- Tracks must be generated on your account while a qualifying plan is active.
- You may not resell or redistribute a track as a standalone AI model, dataset, or competing music generation service.
- You may not claim exclusive ownership of a generated track in a way that prevents other creators from using their own generated material.
- Do not use the service to imitate identifiable artists or to create unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.
3. License certificate
Annual subscribers can download a license certificate for each eligible track generated while the qualifying plan is active. The certificate lists the track, the account, the applicable plan period, and the commercial usage rights included—useful for client deliverables, platform claims, and rights documentation.
4. Limitations and third-party services
The license covers your use of generated tracks. It does not grant rights over third-party assets used elsewhere in your project, and it does not cover use of artist names, trademarks, or copyrighted works in prompts. Platform claims—such as Content ID matches—remain subject to the platform’s own policies; the certificate helps you respond to those claims.
Create Music AI is an independent service and is not affiliated with Google, YouTube, Spotify, or any other music generation provider.
